Hero Arts and Chameleon Pens: Christmas Thank you

Hi Stampers!
I am back with a Christmas thank you card that I made for the Chameleon Pens blog (the blog is experiencing technical difficulties, but should be back up soon)

For my card I used Thank you Messages set and the Happy Holly Days set and dies. I stamped several times the holly, die cut and . colored with my Chameleon Pens. I arranged the branches on my panel and cut off the excess. Then stamped the sentiment, adhered to Mossy Meadow card panel (retired SU! color) and added some silver thin washi tape.

To finish off my card I added some Nuvo drops and embellished with silver pen dots.

Hero Arts: Happy Holidays

Hi Stampers!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our family to yours. I know that I have been slacking in blogging lately and videos. Being swamped at work and in front of a computer ALL day long, I had no desire to turn on my computer at home and blog or edit videos.
I have been as well working on catalog samples, Creativation prep etc, so I have not much to show you, but stay tuned. Lot of good things are coming soon.

This past week has been extremely stressful with Christmas and work (though I supposed to be on vacation). But we all survived.

Today I have a simple card to share (before it's too late and Christmas is over). I used the Color Layering Wreath and the coordinating dies, along with the Christmas Poster background stamp to create this simple card.

All supplies are linked below! Merry Christmas all and I am hoping to blog more often soon!

Hero Arts 2018 Valentine's Day Catalog Release - Blog Hop and GIVEAWAY

Hi stampers!
Welcome to the Hero Arts Valentine's collection blog hop!
If at any point you get bored, just hop onto the next blog :D (I will have the same list on the bottom of this post) which is Michelle and I check her amazing creations!

Ilina Crouse - that's ME

I have few projects for you today, so please bear with me.
For my first project I am using the Mini Calendar kit, which actually is not really part of the Valentine's collection, but with the New Year coming pretty soon, we all need 2018 calendar and on. I LOVE this kit! The kit includes:
  • 6x8 clear set of months, days, dates, icons and other calendar essentials
  • 12 sheets of 4x6 heavy white card stock
  • 1 cube Intense Black hybrid ink
  • 1 calendar stand
So, for my calendar I used paper and set that came in the kit. I stamped the border , days and year with versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder. Next I stamped the dates using Intenese black ink, made the banners, stamped on the calendar pages and put them together.

For my next card I used Loving Swans wood mount set and at the end I used the Floral Border with die frame cuts. I blended the background using bubble gum, orchid and grape juice ink pads.Added little splatters using the Pink Metallic Mist. Colored the swans using my Chameleon Pens and Pencils, cut them out and assembled the card.

My next card features the new set called Cherrubs. I decided to make a shaker card and used the new mist to add shimmer and color to the background inside. The cherubs were stamped using the pink to red ombre ink then die cut.

And then we have the Otter stamp and cut set. I love these cute otters. I decided to cut them out and form shape of a heart and adhered to vellum heart. My background was stenciled using 3 colors of ink (tide pool, antiqua and navy) to get ombre effect. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. Added some sequins to add more interest.

December My Monthly Hero Release and Give Away

Hi Stampers!
Happy Monday! It's the first Monday of the month, which means it's time for the new My Monthly Hero kit and  Blog hop for the new December kit

Let's take a look at the main kit!

Kit Contents
6 x 8" Clear Stamp Set
12 Coordinating Frame Cuts Dies
1 Fancy Window Die
5 ink cubes (Exclusive colors only available in this kit - Sapphire, Teal Topaz, Pink Tourmaline, Ruby, Tiger's Eye)
5.25" x 6.5" Stencil
Assortment of glitter stickers

The value of the kit is nearly $80, but it is sold at $34.99.

There are also some awesome, optional add-on products this month - 3 stamp sets, coordinating dies, 4 Fancy Dies, 3 background stamps, 1 woodblock stamp, 4 new inks and a modeling paste. That's a lot of fun new products! . I think my favorite is the Henna Flower Pattern stamp

Now, you have probably arrived here from Libby's blog, and if you haven't trust me you don't want to miss her amazing projects. So go back to her blog or start from the beginning(the Hero Arts blog) and if you arrived here from her blog, then you are on the right track and your next stop will be Kelly's blog(and you don't want to miss her project, either).

Now let's move to the projects. First up is a card I had over on the Hero Arts blog on Saturday using the main kit, so for more details for this card head over the Hero Arts Blog.
My next card uses the Henna Flower Pattern stamp. I stamped it few times using Versamark onto black card stock and embossed with Gold embossing powder. Next I colored it with Prismacolor and Chameleon Pencils. I stamped the sentiment from the main kit and embossed with gold.

This, next card, was really tough to photograph because of all of the "shimmer and shine", as the sentiment says, too. I used the new modeling paste and applied to Navy card stock and the stencil from the main kit. I created the circle by masking part of the stencil with masking paper and circle infinity die. While it was still wet I applied gold embossing powder. Let it dry. After it was dry I heat set the powder, stamped and embossed the sentiment, then applied Sparkle shimmer spray.

Last, but not the least is this card, which again I had hard time photographing. I stamped the Mandala on black card stock (sorry, lots of black today, it was my mood this weekend) and embossed with gold. Then using FineTeC mica watercolors I colored it in. I stamped the sentiment on piece of black card stock, embossed with gold and die cut with circle infinity die. I assembled the card and spritzed over it using Sparkle Shimmer Spray
